On Friday 2nd July, Hampshire Schools Showpiece sporting event brought National School Sport week to a close. Superstars 2010 saw over 200 Elite athletes from all over Hampshire representing their partnerships in an exciting day of multi sport action including Archery, Swimming, Duathlon and Rowing.

Velmead victorious at Hart Kwik Cricket Festival

Hartley Wintney Cricket Club once again provided a fantastic setting for the 2010 Hart Kwik Cricket festival on 17 June. Seven schools were split into 2 groups with the top two schools in each group progressing to the semi finals, with the Three school not quite making the semi finals playing a triangular tournament to decide 5th, 6th and 7th position.

Robert May's Students win Badminton National Schools Championships!

A team of badminton players from Robert May's School triumphed at The Center Parcs National Schools Championships in Nottingham on 21 May 2010. The girls represented North East Hampshire in the Year 10/11 category of the competition at Center Parcs Sherwood Forest.

Cove School is first school team in England to 'Walk the Walk'!

Charles Kingsley win Junior Schools netball league

The four winners of the area netball leagues played throughout the year, and met at Wavell Secondary School last Thursday to decide the overall champions of the High 5 leagues. The winning schools were Charles Kingsley, Potley Hill, St. Nicholas & Tower Hill.

NEHSSP coach wins AEGON Award

The annual NEHSSP Year 5 & 6 Tag Rugby tournament took place at Aldershot Park on Wednesday 10th February. Not even a heavy snow blizzard could dampen the atmosphere of the 26 teams competing.

Robert Mays U13 Girls compete in FA Community Cup
